February

Hey guys, it's been a while since I last posted.

I played in the WCOOP Blogger Tourneys, and It didn't turn out well, mainly because the tourneys were scheduled right around when I was at work, I had to play while at work which is never a good thing. I came close to cashing but didnt.

I been playing regularly this month trying to get back into things since January was a off month for me where I was kind of lost interest in poker.

But now I'm back and will continue to grind.

I no longer stack 13 tables on top of one another, I found that I miss many spots to identify and isolate fish that way due to being too robotic. I have since then began to tile 9 tables in one screen, I find it very nice for me because I can easily make note on where the fish are and who had been tilting (found some fish shoving every hand after a suckout, which I would never notice if I had stack my tables).

Anyway, I'm still trying to move up even though my roll got bigger already, I don't know why but I guess I'm really not trying to play bigger , because I'm happy with the money I'm making ATM, I'll try to move up whenever I feel like once in a while.

Today was terrible btw, played about 3k hands and had a rough 2k breakeven switch. Had my sets:

This Month So Far:

Here's PTR Graph, pretty accurate, only few dollars off:

Full Tilt's Rush Poker

So I saw an update today at FTP and it's call Rush Poker. Basically when you fold your hand , you get moved to a new table immediately with a new hand.

I played for about 5 mins at nl10 and look at this:

and hit a Royal

I'll give it a few more tries to see if it's really that fishy
Online Poker

I have registered to play in the WBCOOP PokerStars World Blogger Championship of Online Poker! You too can Play Poker Online at PokerStars.com and take part in the WBCOOP which is open to all Bloggers by registering on WBCOOP to play.

Losing streak

I played about 7-8 sessions since Jan 1st, and I have lost every single one of them! This is just confidence killing. I'm feeling really down right now about my game and my mentality, I think I'm gonna take some break from FR HE.

I been playing Omaha/08 for a while and have managed to recovered about 1/3 of the loss. I'm gonna keep playing them and hope maybe make the transition to it as it's really one of the first form of poker I started with and actually can have fun in. Gonna do that for a while.

P.S. If you need the multitable AHK script from me, just email me and I'll send it to u. stevenyc1211@yahoo.com

Bankroll: $272.63

Happy New Year!

This is my last session of the year I think, final day at nl2 and come New Year, I will be at nl5 and onwards rocketing towards Nl100.

Took a donkament and some more grinding

Yesterday night I played a donkament on Cake and won 10th place for like $15, then some 9 tabling DON on cake and added another $12, then I went to try to get my grind mode back after so long break from playing and landed some good wins, although this morning I played and just got sucked out on for few pots , i still managed to pull in a win even when I'm running few dollars below EV.

Funny because I think I found another major thing about full ring micros, this thing has helped me manage swings. I learned to lay down hands when donks show BIG strength on turn and river, I been losing lots of $$ when I simply called on River with mediocore or semi strong hands after a donk shove or raise big, at this level, when donks shows big strength on turn or river, it's usually the nuts, I know it might seem weak but It's the way to go, many times donks showed me what he got and I was dead on right.

I'm going to play the $1 Guinness World Record Tourney on stars today, I hope I win some $50k for first place =D.

UPDATE:

End of the School...

Sigh, I did really bad on a final and ended up with a D for that class. I'm going to have to retake it again. This is such a bummer to my otherwise enjoyable winter break, O well, I will now dedicate lots of my free time to learn stuff that are important to my major.

On Poker note, I would like to Congratulate Chipstar1 for becoming a Pokerstars Online Pro! For those of you who don't know, Chipstar1 grinded nl2 for over 1million hands with a profit of about 5 thousand dollars. I guess Stars thinks he represented micro grinders well. (If I had known about Stars promotion looking for Online Pros, I might've applied too since I played almost 400k hands at the micros with similar 45 degree graph ^_^ ).

Anyway, Here's what I have so far since I cashed out and restarted this journey:

I played less than 10k hands since November 1, so that's really lack of volume from me. I will plan to put in some volume until Jan 1st , where I will start at Nl5 and then will move up accordingly to Nl100 by the end of next year and reach SuperNova.

I'm GOING FOR IT GUYS, WISH ME LUCK!
